As we get ready for the magic that is Thanksgiving, I am reminded of a few things that I am thankful for in the sports world.

I am thankful that:

1.) The Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl:
-I can’t STAND fans of the Boston teams. I have no real issue with the players (ok, maybe Moss and Beli-cheat) but their fans are so arrogant and annoying. I am so thankful the G-Men beat the bean-eating, idiotic, brainless, idiots who can’t pronounce their “R’s” and live in a miserable state ran by a fat drunken senator on life support and a horse-faced presidential loser! THANK YOU, ELI!!!!

2.) The Pacers “took out the trash.”

3.) The Colts are NOT the Detroit Lions

4.) I don’t have to clean John Madden’s toilet after his Thanksgiving Feast

5.) We FINALLY have a college football playoff…oh wait…..

10.) Arizona at Oregon: OREGON is the pick. I think they will pull off 27-23 win.

9.) Cal at Oregon State: OREGON STATE runs the ball..A LOT…and gets just enough passing to win.

8.) North Carolina at Maryland: I am not scared of a turtle and neither is Butch Davis. The NEXT COACH AT TENNESSEE and NORTH CAROLINA get the road win!

7.) Texas at Kansas: Colt McCoy rebounds from a sub-par game last week and throws 4 TD passes as TEXAS wins 40-24.

6.) Notre Dame at Navy: Is that bacon cooking? Oh wait, it’s just Charlie Weiss’ butt roasting in his hot seat! I say NOTRE DAME wins a game they HAVE to win and clinch a spot in a bowl game. Why hasn’t Weiss been calling the plays again?

5.) Minnesota at Wisconsin: I love this time of year when we get dumb rivalry games. Ladies and gentlemen……Bring on the PAUL BUNYAN AX!! I say WISKY raises up the ax and castrates the Gophers.

4.) Vandy at Kentucky: If it is November, it must be time for the Vandy swoon. I say KY wins by 10.

3.) VA Tech at Miami: (THURSDAY): This game would be awesome, if this were about 6 years ago. Still, a big game and I say THE U wins this. I have not gotten The ‘Canes right all year, I am hoping this is the first!

2.) Boston College at Florida State: BC didn’t impress me last week by beating a lifeless Irish squad. FSU beats BC in Tallahassee. Somewhere…Burt Reynolds will be smiling.

1.) S. Carolina at Florida: (yep….this IS the big game. Sad isn’t it?) FLORIDA beats THE NEXT COACH AT TENNESSEE Steve Spuriur..by a lot. Florida 37 Cocks 17.
