Random Thoughts (5/11)
Still longing for the days of the early and mid 90’s when the Pacers and Racers were BOTH making Indy buzz. Here are 10 things that are currently running through my mind.
1.) Helio Castroneves…From jailhouse to penthouse! Glad to see someone other than Danica make headlines at the IMS.
2.) Danica Patrick…Anyone else think she has been a little too quiet and too well behaved so far?
3.) Dan Wheldon…Despite a spin, a poor qualifying run and starting 18th, I still think Dan can make some noise for Panther Racing on race day.
4.) ROW 2… I know Row 1 gets all the attention, but Row 2 isn’t bad either! Rahal, Dixon and Kanaan…NICE! If anyone on Row 1 struggles early, look out!!
5.) Ron Artest…I love watching and listening to this crazy S.O.B now that he is not on MY team. Go ahead Ron, puch Kobe out and tell more stories of murder on the playgrounds of NYC.
6.) Brett Favre…In many ways is like a disease you get in Mexico. While the times may have been fun in the past, all you end up with at the end of the day is an irritation that won’t go away soon enough.
7.) LeBron James…is not bad.
8.) Mark Cuban…Much like Artest, I enjoy watching him go nuts. Trash talking K-Mart’s mom and shoving camera guys. Atta boy, Mark!
9.) Ed Johnson…Cue up the theme to “Welcome Back Kotter.” Despite what you think about him personally, he can help the team.
10.) Manny Ramirez…Is this just another case of “Manny being Manny?” When will that excuse end? If he kills a guy and uses “Manny being Manny” as a defense, some people will look the other way. Ri-damn-diculous!!
